Auteur(s): G.P.C. Lemans ISBN: 9789046600764 It is unavoidable: when you actually meet and work with colleagues, engineers and vendor representatives from e.g.Augusta, Baton Rouge, Baytown, Billings, Bordeaux, Cologne, Darlington, Den Bosch, Fawley, Fife, Florham park, Fos, Geleen, Gorinchem, Hamburg, Haarlem, Houston, Ingolstadt, Karlsruhe, London, Mannheim, Oelegem, Paris, Port Jerome, Rochester N.Y. Rotterdam, Schlagen, Sriracha, Stenungsund, Stuttgart, Toronto,Trecate,Vlissingen,Whitegate and Zaandam, you will hear and remember worthwhile stories. GC''s hardwired remembrance neurons triggered the idea to feed back his unusual experience, combining some of the stories — the more or less repeatable ones — into an atypical, however remarkable book. The book is built on a firm tripod: evergreen jokes, funny when appropriate; honest sex, tender when applicable; solid engineering, earnest when necessary. The story is set in the first half of 1973, when GC was assigned to the start-up team of the FOS Refinery expansion project, but wound up with the Exxon Research and Engineering ProjectTeam, finalising the construction of the plant.Yes, God''s ways may take surprising turns, but you can bet your sweet Alpha, Sierra, Sierra that Exxon Management has been there first. You are now reading the last page of GC''s book; quickly get the book itself, turn to page 1 and enjoy!!! Over de auteur(s): GC Lemans was born in Antwerp on November 21, 1940, at the beginning of World War II, so he was still conceived from genuine, strong, first class, pre-WWII, 304L stainless steel clad, Flemish seed.
